1.The messaging program

Back In Chair, operated by Automate My System, provides a text-messaging service that participating barbershops and businesses (each, a “Shop”) use to text their own clients. Messages may include appointment reminders, booking confirmations, rebooking and win-back reminders, review requests, replies to your messages, missed-call follow-ups, and related service or account notifications from the Shop.

2.Your consent to receive texts

By giving your mobile number to a Shop and opting in — for example, by checking a consent box on a check-in form, texting the Shop first, or otherwise agreeing — you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from that Shop through Back In Chair at the number you provided.

Consent is not a condition of any purchase. You don’t have to agree to texts to get a haircut or use a Shop’s services.

3.How to opt out

You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any text. After you send STOP, you’ll receive a single confirmation and will not get further messages from that Shop’s number, unless you opt back in. To resume, reply START.

4.Getting help

Reply HELP to any text for assistance, or contact us at help@backinchair.com. For questions about a specific message or appointment, contact the Shop that sent it.

5.Frequency & charges

Message frequency varies depending on the Shop and your activity (for example, appointments and how long since your last visit). Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Back In Chair and the Shop are not responsible for charges from your carrier.

6.Carriers & delivery

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to your carrier and mobile device, and is not guaranteed. Supported carriers may change.

7.Your privacy

We respect your privacy. Mobile opt-in information and consent are never shared with third parties for their own marketing. We use your number only to deliver the Shop’s messages and to operate the service. See our Privacy Policy for how information is handled, and note that the Shop controls the information it holds about you.

8.Changes & contact

We may update these Messaging Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. These terms are part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service. Questions? Email help@backinchair.com.
