1.Subscriptions & billing
Back In Chair is a subscription service, operated by Automate My System. You choose a plan and are billed in advance for each billing period (monthly, unless stated otherwise). Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, and your saved payment method is charged, until you cancel. This policy is part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service.
2.Cancel anytime
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. There’s no cancellation fee and no need to call. When you cancel, we simply stop the next automatic renewal — you won’t be charged again after the current period ends.
3.No refunds
All payments are non-refundable. When you cancel, you will not receive a refund or credit for the current billing period, for any unused time, or for any messages or features you didn’t use. We do not provide partial or prorated refunds. This applies whether you cancel on the first day of a period or the last.
4.What happens after you cancel
Because you’ve already paid for the current period, your plan stays active until that period ends — you keep full access until then. After it ends, your subscription will not renew, billing stops, and paid features are turned off. You can resubscribe later at any time.
5.Failed or declined payments
If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge and may pause or downgrade your account until payment succeeds. You’re responsible for keeping a valid payment method on file. A failed payment does not, by itself, cancel your subscription — please cancel from your account if you don’t want to continue.
6.Price changes
We may change plan prices from time to time. If we do, the new price applies to your next billing period, and we’ll give you notice before it takes effect so you can cancel first if you don’t agree.
7.Termination for policy violations
If we suspend or terminate your account for breaking our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, you will not receive a refund for any remaining time.
8.Exceptions
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have that cannot be waived under applicable law. If a refund is legally required in your situation, we’ll honor it. Outside of that, refunds are granted only at our discretion, if at all.
